The free plan is not a paid trial

Free guest practice includes ten authored incidents and the free interview rehearsal. No payment method is required. A guest session does not automatically become a paid account or subscription.

The 7-day Pro trial

Eligible new subscribers can try Pro for seven days after verified payment setup and eligibility checks. You must have a verified account, accept the current policies, and expressly authorize the subsequent recurring payment. The offer is for Pro, not Pro+. During the trial, AI assistance is limited to ten interactions per day; paid Pro includes fifty per day. The trial includes three distinct worked answer keys; repeat views of those keys do not use an additional slot. Paid Pro includes the full answer library.

The trial automatically renews at the plan you select: $19 USD per month or $149 USD per year, unless you cancel before the trial ends. The annual amount is charged in one payment, not monthly installments. These terms are displayed before card setup. Settings shows your confirmed trial end and provides a link to the billing portal. A card issuer may show a temporary verification authorization; this is not an PacketDojo subscription charge.

Eligibility and repeated claims

One trial per account. Prior verified-email and payment-card identities are checked, including limited hashed records retained for up to 365 days after a claim. Multiple accounts, changed emails, cleared cookies, or account deletion must not be used to obtain repeated trials. This offer requires a direct credit or debit card. Prepaid cards, unknown funding types, and tokenized wallets are not eligible. A shared card may make another account ineligible; contact support if you believe the result is wrong.

Card setup alone does not grant Pro. If a trial is rejected, no trial subscription is created and it does not automatically become an immediate paid purchase. You can continue using the free plan or separately authorize a paid subscription. We may investigate misuse and restrict trial access.

Renewals and cancellation

Subscriptions renew at the selected interval until canceled. Open Settings → Billing portal to cancel renewal or manage payment details. Cancel a trial before its displayed end time to avoid the first subscription charge. For a paid subscription, cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the confirmed paid period; the portal shows the effective date. Keep the cancellation confirmation. Contact support if the portal is unavailable.

Deleting your PacketDojo account is a separate, irreversible action: it cancels active subscriptions immediately and removes practice data after provider deletion succeeds. Export anything you want to keep first. Deletion is not an automatic refund request.

Plan changes and payment failures

The portal displays the effective date, any proration, and the amount before you confirm an available plan change. Failed, past-due, or expired subscriptions can lose premium access until the payment state is confirmed. Stripe handles card data, invoices, receipts, and payment authentication. Access is based on verified server-side billing events, never a browser’s success message.

Refunds and billing problems

Canceling prevents future renewal but does not automatically refund a payment already made. Contact support to report duplicate or incorrect charges or request a refund review. There is no blanket automatic refund offer in this version of the service. Any mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, or refund rights applicable to you remain unaffected.

Referral credit

Eligible invitations can earn $5 USD of subscription credit for each person after the friend completes 30 paid days. Credits apply to a future finalized invoice, not the initial payment or an already-open invoice. They are not cash, do not extend a trial and do not alter renewal terms. Before you authorize payment

Check your chosen amount and renewal interval, verify that the features you want are currently available, and review this policy and the Terms of Service. Future AI interviewers, certification, and recruiter products are not part of the current paid offer. Payment data handling is described in the Privacy Policy.
